With its prominent position overlooking the Lauterbrunnen valley, the Hotel Regina offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains: Jungfrau and the Silberhorn. Located in the village of Wengen, this elegant Victorian-style building (listed in the Swiss Heritage fund in 2004), owned by Ariane and Guido Meyer, is a place of tranquility and fosters a refined art of living in all seasons.

Built in 1894, the Hôtel Regina has welcomed an international clientele from all corners of the globe over the decades. With its comfortable rooms and suites, all equipped with the latest technologies, the hotel is also an ideal place for seminars, conferences, weddings, among others, throughout the year. Thus, two seminar rooms are offered, one accommodating between 20 to 25 people, the other between 100 to 120 people.

To enhance the stay of the clientele, the hotel also provides its guests with a spa with sauna and hammam, a fitness room, as well as a wellness treatment center (qualified beautician and physiotherapist) offering a wide range of treatments. In terms of gastronomy, the restaurant Chez Meyers (15 points in the Gault Millau guide) delivers excellent gourmet services with flair.

In the kitchen, it is Mickaël Cochet who creates fine culinary compositions. Trained by Marc Veyrat, Patrick Jeffroy, Jean Sulpice, Nicolas Masse and Thierry Thiercelin, Mickaël Cochet showcases local produce and seasonality on the menu with talent and passion. In the kitchen, a nook called “La bulle” allows a few privileged diners to experience a unique moment at the center of the kitchen.

Furthermore, the brasserie Jack’s with its 1900 ambiance, chandeliers, and wooden tables, invites you to enjoy traditional cuisine complemented by fine wine selections. The Hotel Regina also features a large hall with a fireplace, as well as a piano bar to enjoy good moments in a warm atmosphere. We love the beautiful terrace, ideal for enjoying the view and the sun, the Sens boutique and the chalet Café Mary’s, (about 1 km outside of Wengen in the Schiltwald) not to mention Caramel, the true mascot of the hotel, who is always ready for a nice walk with guests while supporting a charitable action. The hotel Regina has been awarded the European Hotel Awards 2019 Art of Good Hosting.
