In Nantes, on the tranquil banks of the Erdre, a century-old manor hosts one of the region’s finest dining experiences: Le Manoir de la Régate. Established in 1995 by Loïc Pérou and now managed by his children, Mathieu and Anne-Charlotte Pérou, the establishment combines culinary excellence, family heritage, and environmental awareness. Awarded a Michelin star in 2021 and a green star, the manor exemplifies a new wave of committed dining, deeply rooted in local terroir yet keenly forward-looking.

A Family Story by the Erdre

The adventure began in an old dance hall, taken over by the Pérou family in 1988, and transformed into a culinary beacon by 1995. Three decades later, the address remains true to its origins. Mathieu Pérou, trained by renowned chefs like Anne-Sophie Pic, Jérôme Banctel, and Jean Sulpice, took over the kitchen in 2017, bringing renewed creativity and a staunchly locavore approach.
